From a business perspective, audio is convenient so you can do more things at once while listening to audio (driving, walking the dog, faking that we are watching the kids, or very bored in a social setting).
I have been using Clubhouse and Twitter spaces daily. I saw that in both the discoverability needs significant improvement. I can’t easily find topics I am in the mood for. Especially that I listen when I have a moment during the day or a task I can do while listening to a discussion so I don’t arrange myself around the timing of a certain discussion. Discoverability is something all platforms are working on improving.
